Dilts

Marie Joan Dilts, 76, of Zelienople died Wednesday at the UPMC Passavant Cranberry Place, Cranberry Township.

Born Sept. 16, 1931, in Akron, Ohio, she was the daughter of Stephen and Mary Remis Vavro.

Mrs. Dilts was a member of St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church in Zelienople.

She is survived by a daughter, Joni M. Vogel and her husband, Kevin, of Butler; five sons, James S. Dilts and his wife, Lauren, of Fombell, Thomas A. Dilts and his wife, Joan, of Butler, Matthew J. Dilts of Zelienople, Robert J. Dilts of Ellwood City and Richard E. Dilts and his wife, Kathy, of Harmony, and 12 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur B. Dilts, who died Jan. 29, 2006, and a brother, Steven Vavro.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Roman Catholic Church, 2 W. Beaver St., Zelienople.
