PITTSBURGH — Police say a 66-year-old O'Hara Township woman is fighting for her life in a Pittsburgh hospital after being attacked in her home.

Police went to the woman's home about 1 a.m. Monday after receiving a report that somebody had fallen in the home. But police now say it appears from the condition of the home that the woman was attacked.

Police are not releasing the woman's name, but say she was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.
