Ruth Rose Rudoff, 78, of Cambridge, Ohio, formerly of Butler, died at 2:19 p.m. Monday at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville, Ohio.

She was born Dec. 31, 1928, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and was the daughter of William and Molly Sharrer Adelson.

She enjoyed her family and friends and loved quilting and ceramics. She was a member of B'nai Abraham Synagogue.

Surviving are her daughter, Belinda Hohman of Cambridge, Ohio; grandchildren, William (Terri) Rudoff of Seymore Johnson Air Force Base, Greensboro, N.C., Polly Rudoff of Cullowhee, N.C., and Paula Hohman of Cambridge, Ohio; a brother, Lester Adelson of Florida; and sisters, Ann (Phil) Birnberg and Joan Schneider, both of Brooklyn, N.Y.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Rudoff, who died in 1982, and her son, David Rudoff, who died this past summer.
