The PIAA brackets for boys and girls soccer and girls volleyball have been announced and involve several local teams.
Girls Soccer• Seneca Valley (17-3-1), the WPIALClass AAA champions, will play Mt. Lebanon, the No. 6 team out of the WPIAL, at 8 p.m. Tuesday at North Hills High School.
Boys Soccer• Mars (18-3-1), the No. 3 seed out of the WPIAL for Class AA, will face District 10 champion North East at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Harborcreek High School.• In Class A, Karns City (20-1), the District 9 champion, will face WPIAL runner-up Seton LaSalle at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Clarion University.
Volleyball• Grove City, the District 10 runner-up, will face WPIAL champion Hopewell at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at North Allegheny High School.Football playoff games announcedThe following are playoff matchups for local football teams:
District 10• Grove City (8-1), which received an at-large berth in Class AA, will face North East, also at at-large participant, at 1 p.m. Saturday at Slippery Rock University.• Slippery Rock (6-4), one of four teams to qualify in Class AAA, will face General McLane Nov. 16 or 17 at a site and time to be determined. Both teams received at-large bids as did Strong Vincent, which will play champion Titusville.
District 9• Class AA champion Karns City (10-0) will host Brockway (5-5) and No. 2 seed Brookville (7-3) will host No. 3 Moniteau (5-5) next weekend (Nov. 16 or 17).
WPIAL• In Class AAA, Knoch (8-2) will face Highlands (8-2) in the quarterfinal round with a site and time to be determined.• In Class AA, Mars (9-1) will face Aliquippa (8-2) in the second round with a site and time to be determined.

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — Stephen Ames closed with a 4-under 68 for a one-shot victory in the Children's Miracle Network Classic.Ames emerged from a typically crowded leaderboard at Disney with three straight birdies on the back nine of the Magnolia Course, then saved par from 65 feet out of the bunker to avoid a playoff with Tim Clark.
