McChesney

Janet Lee McChesney, 74, of Butler died at 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Sunnyview Home.

She was born July 9, 1933, in Grove City, the daughter of Melvin Roger and Loretta Fox Hedegore.

She enjoyed reading and music.

Mrs. McChesney worked in the Bon Ton Shoe Department.

She is survived by a daughter, Gloria McCormick of Butler; two sons, Richard Jr. and his wife, Nancy, McChesney of Butler and Bud and his wife, Marcy, McChesney of Butler; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Tom (Susan) Miller of Sandy Lake.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. McChesney Sr., who died Sept. 12, 1997, and a sister.
