Eric Jones

In loving memory of my husband, Eric Jones on his thirty-second birthday, October 18, 2007.

With you, across the timeline of our years together,

I remember a world rich with shimmering colors.

I remember the color of white as I saw your smiling face for the first time.

I remember the brilliant color of yellow as the lights twinkled off the city as we rode the incline.

I remember the color of lavender as I walked down the aisle to start the first day of the rest of our lives.

I remember the color of blue as we laid back and listened to the crashing waves and gazed up at the clear blue sky.

I remember the color of brown when we brought home our new puppy all soft and cuddly.

I remember the colors of black and silver as we watched intently so many times for that #29.

I remember the colors of love, laughter, and happiness. I remember the colors of us.
