Frederick A. Jaecklein
Frederick A. Jaecklein, 85, of Cranberry Township, formerly of Observatory Hill, died Saturday.
He served in the Navy during World II and retired as a draftsman at US Steel.
Mr. Jaecklein was a longtime member of the Incarnation Parish and was a current member of St. Mathias Parish of Evans City.
He was the loving husband of 58 years to Elizabeth "Betty" Petri Jaecklein; devoted father of Fred and Ceil Jaecklein of Marquette, Mich., Barb and Rick Jespersen of Evans City, Beth and John Moore of Orion, Mich., Bill and Maria Jaecklein of Ormond Beach, Fla., and Jim and Robin Jaecklein of Tacoma, Wash.; and proud grandfather of Frederick, Mary, Dennis, Aaron, Michael, Shannon, Lisa, Jason, Eric, James, Eleni, Emmett, Gavin and Greta. Also surviving are nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Agatha Fisher, Gertrude Brylke and William Jaecklein.

Jaecklein, who died Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>HEARD FUNERAL HOME</B>, 4047 Perrysville Ave., Observatory Hill.
