David James Edward Hudson, 48, died Tuesday at Hospice of Palm Beach County in Lake Worth, Fla., after a long illness.

Born Nov. 20, 1958, in Charleston, W.Va., he was the son of H. Leon Hudson and the late Evelyn Faye Hudson.

He attended God's Bible School in Cincinnati, Ohio, and Hobe Sound Bible College in Hobe Sound, Fla. He was a wonderful musician, who played piano in Burt Reynolds Dinner Theater inJupiter, Fla.

He is survived by his father and second mother, Leon and Freda Hudson of Scott Depot, W.Va.; a sister, Melody Hudson Kamerer of Butler; a brother, the Rev. Gregory L. Hudson and his wife, Julie, of Hurricane, W.Va.; nieces Jamie L. Goehring of Butler, Hannah Hudson of Hurricane, W.Va.; nephews, Jason Kamerer of Cranberry Township and Joshua Kamerer of Harrisburg; and a great-niece and a great-nephew of Butler.

<B>HUDSON</B> — Memorial services and burial for David James Edward Hudson, who died Tuesday, Aug. 21, 2007, will be Sept. 1 at Grace Wesleyan Church in Culloden, W.Va.The family requests donations to local hospice facilities.
