George X. Christopher
George X. Christopher, 58, of Cranberry Township died unexpectedly Saturday at the UPMC Passavant Cranberry hospital.
Born April 9, 1949, in New York, N.Y., he was the son of Luisa Molina Christopher of Sunrise, Fla., and the late George R. Christopher.
Mr. Christopher was a computer and history buff and an avid reader. He loved old movies, 1940s to 1960s era music, and dogs, especially his beloved West Highland Terrier, Sidney.
He was a former mail handler at the bulk mail center in Warrendale, and he was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Karen M. Fisher Christopher, whom he married Dec. 4, 1980; a sister, Linda Callahan of Longboat Key, Fla.; numerous nieces and nephews in Pittsburgh and Florida; and an uncle and aunts in Florida.
