Ernest T. Martin, 69, of Richland Township died Thursday at his home.

Born May 14, 1938, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Thomas and Mary Martin.

He was a metal fabricator for more than 27 years with the US Steel Corp., and he worked as a custodian for the Richland Township School District.

He is survived by a daughter, Cynthia (Bradley) Lewis of Butler; a son, Timothy (Peggy) Martin of Renfrew; and a sister, Jean Martin of Ross Township. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Kayla, Melissa and Crysta Lewis and Anthony and Alexander Williams.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne, whom he married in October 1964.
