Albert Bernard Molnar Sr., 87, of Penn Township died Friday at UPMC Passavant Hospital.

He was born in Lows-ville, W. Va., to Bert and Julia Taylor Molnar.

Mr. Molnar was the owner and operator of Al Molnar Printing for more than 21 years until his retirement in 1985.

He was a member and former deacon of the Hampton Presbyterian Church and a member of the Penn Township Veterans' Association.

He was a veteran who served in the Navy during World War II.

He is survived by his wife, Edith Kathryn Kuehner Molnar, whom he married June 25, 1949, in the Smithfield Evangelical Church in Pittsburgh; a daughter, Beverly (Dane) Smith of Shelby, Ohio; a son, Bert (Sissy) Molnar of Penn Township; grandchildren, Courtney Traut of Vermilion, Ohio, Lauren Smith of Shelby, Ohio, and Heather Molnar of Penn Township; great-granddaughter, Allison Kathryn Traut of Vermilion Ohio; and four brothers, Gabert Molnar of Butler, Alexander (Joan) Molnar of South Carolina, William Molnar of Middlesex Township, and Robert Molnar of South Carolina.

Mr. Molnar was preceded in death by his siblings, John Molnar, Helen Nemes, Edith Breakiron, and Bertha Davis.
