Bird, I can't believe a year has passed. Why you? Is the question that I've asked.

But only recently have I found out,

Heaven needed a nurse without a doubt.

I miss you here more than words can say.

I think about you night and day.

Like all of the goofy things we've done. Funny moments, lots of fun.

It sounds unfair for me to weep,

You left so many memories for us to keep.

When I get sad I look to the sky.

And there's always a bright star that catches my eye.

I know that it's you, watching down on us all.

To help pick us up if we happen to fall.

So keep us safe and guide us through.

Until the day we meet with you.

You were the best sister a girl could receive.

It's just a shame you had to leave.

There's one more thing, I have to do.

So here I go again, I love and miss you.
