Even so it is hard to stop the tears

Today is a day that is filled with sadness

For a life lost so young, through all of the madness

I still wish that there was something I could have done

To protect you from that "one"

I know that now you are at peace

For with your Mom you were always at ease.

The last thing that we said was that we loved each other

If only I would have known there would be another
