BURGETTSTOWN — The state attorney general's office will prosecute two Pittsburgh police detectives accused of fighting local police.

Washington County District Attorney John Pettit asked the state prosecutors to take over the case.

Detectives Patrick Moffatt, 38, and Joseph Simunovic, 39, were among five people charged by Hanover Township police with aggravated assault and other crimes following a Saturday night Toby Keith concert.
