IN BRIEF

The Butler racing team of Dennis Baglier and Marty Luffy finished 17th in the Grand American Koni Challenge Race held recently in Quebec.

The duo started 23rd in their Mazda 6 and got as high as 14th before leaving the race with 20 minutes left and settling for 17th.

Only 11 cars running at full speed finished the race as the 1.52-mile track caused plenty of contact between the cars and the concrete.

Baglier and Luffy travel to Virginia International Raceway in Danville, Va., for a six-hour season finale in October.
