Keeping WatchI had two parents, both now gone,But they taught me how to carry on.They both had some struggles in life to endure with me.But both taught me to live one day at a time and not try to be something I couldn't be.I often feel they felt I neededsomeone to lead me and to guide me, and help me deal with times of strife.They both had reason to be a parent who did care for me,My life as a child was a sickly life and gave concern and mystery,But though they may be gone, I often feel, though they may be with the LordThey are still watching my life from above.And they will keep watching me, as a labor of love.
