LOVESPARK, Ill. — Rockford right-hander Tanner Watson tossed a two-hitter and faced one batter over the minimum in shutting out the Slippery Rock Sliders, 1-0, Friday night.

Watson's win was his 19th in three seasons with Rockford, setting a club record.

The Sliders (16-50) advanced only one runner into scoring position. Nate Yoho singled with one out in the eighth, stole second and advanced to third on a wild pitch. A lineout and strikeout left him there.

Will Henderson's two-out RBI single in the sixth scored the game's only run. Nick Tracy (0-10) took the loss for the Sliders, who host Washington in a 6:05 p.m. doubleheader Sunday.
