Friday is the last day to buy landowner antlerless deer licenses, which are on sale at the Butler County Treasurer's office in the County Government Center at 124 W. Diamond St., Butler

Mailed applications must be postmarked on or before Aug. 4 to be accepted.

This license is available to both resident and nonresident landowners. Cost is $6 for residents, and $26 for nonresidents.

The applicant must furnish proof of ownership of land in the form of the original deed or and official copy.

Only one landowner antlerless deer license will be issued per qualifying deed each year regardless of acreage in excess of 50 acres or number of qualifying tracts.
