Oddie, today is your second birthday away from me. Since you're not with me to celebrate, there's not much I can say on a sad day like this.

Death leaves a heart ache that won't go away.

On your birthday today, I'll try to remember, like I do each day, of many beautiful memories of the years we had together.

I especially remember your beautiful blue eyes, smiling face and your laughing humorous ways.

There will be no cake today. But I know while you have our Lord laughing, He will have His choir of angels sing "Happy Birthday" to you and let you know how much I miss you.
