Rebecca R. "Becky" Dunmire, 65, of North Washington died Saturday morning at the Grove City Medical Center following a brief illness.

Born Feb. 27, 1942, in Washington Township, Butler County, she was the daughter of Frank Jr. and Leola "Toots" Campbell Smith.

She was a Protestant.

She retired from the Office of Personnel Management in Boyers after more than 25 years.

She enjoyed playing cards, doing crafts and traveling.

Surviving are two daughters, Renee Dunmire of North Washington and Jackie Lyons and her husband, William, of Slippery Rock; a son, Daniel "Skip" Dunmire and his wife, Amber, of Queen Creek, Ariz.; four grandchildren, Dennis "DJ" Davis Jr., Angie Voloch, and Thomas and Kaitlynn Dunmire; three great-grandchildren, Dylan Beachem, Dawson Davis and Taylor Voloch; three sisters, Mrs. Clifford (Sue) Hilliard of North Washington, Jeane Smith of Hooker and Mrs. Ken (Mindy) Stroup of Chicora; a brother, Frank Smith III of Butler; and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas R. Dunmire, whom she married Jan. 2, 1960, and who died July 30, 1998; and an infant brother.

<B>Dunmire — </B>Friends of Rebecca R. "Becky" Dunmire, who died Saturday, May 26, 2007, were received Monday at the <B>H. Jack buzard funeral home </B>in Eau Claire. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. today. Burial followed in the Mount Varnum Cemetery near North Washington.
