Dickey

Lucille Rapp Dickey, 93, of Butler died Thursday evening in the presence of her daughters.

Born March 29, 1914, in Hooker, she was the daughter of Edward J. and Evalena Howell Rapp.

She was a graduate of Butler High School and Butler Business College.

She was a secretary at Center Avenue and McQuistion elementary schools, retiring in 1980 after 24 years.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a life member of the Butler County Association of School Retirees.

Surviving are her two daughters, Nancy Holbein of Meridian and Mary Ann Turner of Stuart, Fla.; six grandchildren, Jeffrey Barber and wife, Becky, of Grove City, Martha A. Kroll of Butler, Jay Barber and wife, Faith, of Butler, Mrs. Michael (Jennifer) Angert of Chicora, Mona Simpson of Oxford, Miss., and J. David Stockard and wife, Natalie, of Baltimore; six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Dickey, who died in July 1978; two brothers, and two sisters.

<B>Dickey — </B>Friends of Lucille Rapp Dickey, who died Thursday, May 24, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Martin Funeral Home</B>, 429 Center Ave. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev.
