Donna Jean Carnahan, 81, of Buffalo Township died at 3:21 p.m. Thursday at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born Aug. 19, 1925, in Apollo, she was the daughter of Earl and Margaret McKinstry Forbes.

She was a homemaker, who enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, flower gardening and going to flea markets.

Surviving are three daughters, Donna Lee (Tim) Shirey of Hyde Park, Nancy (Paul) Riggle of Washington Township and Peggy Carnahan of Vandergrift; two sons, Bill Carnahan of Leechburg, and Bob (Shellie) Carnahan of Buffalo Township; her companion of 32 years, Donald Shearer; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carnahan, who died in 1965; a sister, Louise Crawford; and a brother, Charles Forbes.

<B>Carnahan </B>—<B> </B>Friends of Donna Jean Carnahan, who died Thursday, May 24, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>Redmond funeral home, </B>524 High St., Freeport.
