Grace M. English, 94, of Butler died at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday at the Sunnyview Home.

Born Oct. 13, 1912, in Harmony, she was the daughter of Crawford Arthur and Minnie B. Shaffer English.

She enjoyed making things with yarn and loved to socialize with her friends.

Surviving are good friends, John and Nancy Kriley of Butler, with whom she lived with for more than 23 years; three half-sisters, Waneda Lutz of Ellwood City, Phyllis Erdner of Elkton, Md., and Delores Eckstein of Oakmont; a half-brother, James English of Evans City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
