Sutton

Roxie Jane Fair Sutton, 100, of Evans City died Saturday evening in St. Johns L.A.S. in Mars.

Born Nov. 4, 1906, in Homer City, she was the daughter of William M. and Laura Stare Fair.

She was the oldest member of the Westminister United Presbyterian Church in Evans City, where she had been a member of the church quilters.

She also enjoyed quilting at home and had traveled in all 50 states.

Surviving are her two sons, William O. Sutton of Bradfordwoods and Jerry F. Sutton of Tionesta; two daughters, Miss Jean L. Sutton of Evans City and Mrs. Dorothy Marburger of Evans City; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orie J. Sutton, who died June 22, 1977; two sons; two brothers; five sisters; a grandson, and a great-granddaughter.

<B>Sutton — </B>Friends of Roxie Jane Fair Sutton, who died Saturday, May 19, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Voltz Funeral Home</B>, 328 W. Main St, Evans City. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Westminister United Presbyterian Church in Evans City with the Rev.
