Harriett E. "Sissy" (Abels) Lawrence, 75, a 13-year resident of Moon Township, formerly of Pittsburgh and Knoxville, Tenn., died Saturday at the Beaver Medical Center.

She was born in Pittsburgh April 19, 1932, to Alvin A. and Catherine (Burkett) Abels.

She attended St. Margaret Mary Church.

Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, George Lawrence; two daughters, Rebecca Dandrea and her husband, Lawrence, of St. Paul, Minn., and Jennifer Geary of Pittsburgh; five grandchildren, Catherine, Lorenzo and Domenic Dandrea, Elizabeth Fondelier, and Bill Geary; a sister, Merry Lou Faett and her husband, Norman "Red," of Mount Lebanon, and her brother, Alvin A. Abels of St. Petersburg, Fla.

<B>LAWRENCE</B> — Friends of Harriett E. "Sissy" (Abels) Lawrence, who died Saturday, May 12, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at <B>COPELAND FUNERAL HOME</B>, 981 Brodhead Road, Moon Township. A Blessing Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Garvey officiating. The burial will be private.The family suggests memorials be sent to Life Care Center East, 891 White Bear Ave., St. Paul, MN 55106.
