For my loving father, Wilbert Lutz

who passed away January 15, 1974

It has been so many years

Since I had a chance to tell you

How much I wish I had more time

To share my life and love with you

And over those years as I have grown

To become the man I hope you would be proud of

I have felt you always present as my guardian angel

Guiding me to safety and happiness

I feel truly blessed for the memories

Of how much love you gave me as a boy

And now is the time when you and Mom are together again in Heaven

And I feel you both deep within my heart each day

My faith, hope, and love will always be with you

Until we can be together again.
