Dawn L. McClaine went quietly to meet Jesus on Friday.

Born Sept. 25, 1928, she was the daughter of Arthur and Viola Shirey of Rimersburg.

She was a graduate of Allegheny General Hospital School of Nursing and Chatham College. Prior to moving to Ohio, she was an instructor at Butler County Memorial Hospital School of Nursing.

While in Ohio, she worked at St. Ann's Maternity, the Red Cross in nursing and health services and retired from the Ohio Department of Health in maternity licensure.

Surviving are her husband of 55 years, Regis; a son, Neal; loyal companions, Chance and Heidi; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

<B>McCLAINE</B> — In accordance with the wishes of Dawn L. McClaine, who died Friday, May 11, 2007, there will be no scheduled memorial service.
