Here's a good question for you..why wasn't your dog put on a leash when she was put outside? Your dog would of never gotten shot at or her leg removed if you would of simply followed the rules in "many" counties. People don't like seeing dogs on their property because it does not belong there. They don't want to walk out their front door and step in a pile of crap. What if they have children and the dog attacks the children playing in their own yard. Then who's fault is it? I say the property owner has every right to shoot something that poses a threat, whether you want to believe that or not about your dog. It could be the nicest dog in the world and it could turn on someone just like that. As far as the justice you seek for something that can't talk, well take the responsibility as the "owner" to do the right thing and put it on a leash...enough said!
