What breed of dog is Emma? Sometimes that is the issue - the fear...............myself, I took in a stray half beaten down coyote - chessie bay rtr..........they (humane society)tried to trap because at 50 pounds and scars he was in bad shape and did scare people by his looks ...not by his attitude.......i took him in four years ago after he ran the beach from feb - aug - after he was dumped....he still is skitterish and passive aggressive........but he is my little puppy and protects me well within his confines of his invisible fence. I always have problems with the neighbors letting their dogs loose - Rusty goes out at 5 - 5:15 in the am...........they run up and attack him .I have gone out to seperate them and lately I am tired of this........from bull dogs to labs...........from my point of view...I dont wont to be sued.......I spent 2 k on my invisible fence to keep Rusty safe - now I have to spend 6 K for a real fence to keep other dogs out that the owners let out to roam free in the neighborhood. How fair is that to me and my dog Rusty? Certain breeds of dogs scare people.............mine does I have controlled him...what did your dog do that upset this neighbor so much? Is he just a mean person? My friend has a rottweiler - at 3 months she weighed 50 lbs - just like my pitiful stray weighed - today that dog scares me..........she is way too protective of her grounds and does wonder off in the neighborhood........I have to tell you if she walked on to my property and attacked My Rusty....I would shoot her - not to kill .....but to make sure she didnt kill my Rusty.Where is your neighbor coming from on this - you dont explain this - what is his point of view? What kind of dog do you have........with every dog and the history they have there is a responsibily......I really would like to know because 110 lbs labs have attacked my dog - he is now 90 - he has laid them down by the throat.............I have neighbors when i walk him on a leash - mind you - let their dogs loose - last comment to their dobie - go get you some - my dog sent them home in tears with my help................i understand where you are coming from but when im on the receiving end i know where your neighbor is coming from............explain the breed of dog and temper...my neighbors within this block can and do walk up onto my property...others stay away...until they know Rusty..........women can walk right up .not men because I think it was a man that abused him so horribly......perhaps your neighbor should print his side..............does he have a dog that Emma attacked.....is your dog always out and about...........that is what the police take into consideration....forget what this county does verses yours......what about YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOUR YOUR DOG - WHO IS YOUR FAMILY - TO PROTECT HER - IF SHE IS A FAMILY MEMBER SHE DESERVES THAT MUCH CONSIDERATION.........WHAT IF SHE HAD BIT A CHILD....??????

Sorry but I have what is considered a "bad - stray dog" and I do control him - where is your ownership and responsibility?????????????
