Chip Hasek had four hits and four RBI, and Ryan Schroth drove in two runs as Mars used an eight-run seventh inning to topple Zelienople 12-5 in Butler County American Legion baseball Tuesday night.

Lee Lawver got the win in relief for Mars (2-1).

In other games:

• Adam Gregory struck out nine batters in four innings of relief to pick up the save as East Butler downed Center Township 8-1.

Ryan Armahizer doubled and singled twice for East Butler (2-0).

• Cody Fleeger went 3-for-4, and Chris Codispot and Ken Rosenbauer each had two hits as Butler Township held off a late Saxonburg rally for a 7-6 win.

Jordan Roycroft had a double for Butler Township to key a four-run sixth inning.

Matt McCormick picked up the win with five shutout innings.
