Butler Country Club's Rob McClellan placed first at Rolling Hills Country Club's low-professional golf event Friday.

McClellan's 5-under 67 (33-34) was three strokes better than Sewickley Heights Golf Club's David Malatak, who shot a 70.

McClellan also was involved in a Pro-3 Senior Amateur foursome, which included David Geibel, Jim Lucas and Dr. David Feller. The team placed second.

Seneca Valley graduate Courtney DeFalco tallied three base hits and a run scored in the Waynesburg College softball team's 4-1 victory over Grove City College Friday.DeFalco plays center field for the Yellowjackets (8-16, 2-8).
