Shirley L. Matty, 79, of Butler Arbors died Wednesday afternoon at her home.

Born in Cameron County, May 9, 1927, she was the daughter of Viola Lewis.

She is survived by two sons, Bernard Bauer of Pensacola, Fla., and Lawrence Bauer of Caliente, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Cynthia) Roberts of Evans City; two brothers, Frederick and Russell Lewis, both of Emporium; a sister, Mrs. Frederick (Carole) Smith of Emporium; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Mark "Billy" Bauer; her second husband, Larry Kirschler; her third husband, Raymond Matty; and three sisters.
