Walter J. "Buzz" Rodrian, 81, of Harmony died Thursday at UPMC Passavant Hospital, McCandless Township.

Born Feb. 15, 1926, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Walter C. and Margaret Atkins Rodrian.

He was a World War II veteran of the Army Air Corps, and he retired from Duquesne Light after 35 years.

Mr. Rodrian enjoyed making stained glass, restoring furniture, drawing and painting. He also loved sailing and camping.

He was a member of the Grace Church of Harmony.

Surviving are his wife, Anna Hailstone Rodrian, whom he married Oct. 25, 1947; a daughter, Kimberly Eriksen and her husband, Ted, of Townville, Crawford County; a son, Wade Rodrian of Cranberry Township; a cousin, Dolores Hadley of Bradfordwoods; and four grandchildren, Zachary and Katie Eriksen and Lindsey and Blake Rodrian.

He was preceded in death by a brother, James Rodrian.
