Robert D. "Pat" Perry, 83, of Kittanning died Monday at the Indiana Regional Medical Center, Indiana, Pa.

Born Sept. 20, 1923, in St. Petersburg, Clarion County, he was the son of Irene Dittman McNany.

Mr. Perry was the owner of the R.D. Perry Construction Co. and the co-owner of Perry and Megnin Cooperage Mills.

He was a World War II Army veteran. He enjoyed working, traveling, Sunday drives and feeding his fish.

Surviving are his wife, Grace H. Robinson Perry, whom he married Aug. 15, 1942; five sons, Robert D. Perry Jr. of Elderton, Dennis J. Perry of Chambersburg and Gregory A., Keith M. "Joe" and Jay D. Perry, all of Kittanning; 17 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.

He also is survived by four sisters, Jane Adams of Franklin, Stella Reitz of East Brady, Kate Simms of Avon Lake, Ohio, and Faye Baughman of Franklin.

He was preceded in death two sons, Charles Perry and an infant son, and a daughter, Sandy Kaye Smith.
