Dillner

Elmer F. Dillner, 78, of Middlesex Township died Monday at the UPMC Passavant Hospital.

Born Dec. 29, 1928, in Gibsonia, he was the son of Joseph and Catherine Bonin Dillner.

He retired as a truck driver at Anvil Products in Allison Park after more than 34 years and recently was a custodian at the Middlesex Elementary School in the Mars School District.

He was active with the Mars VFW Post 7505.

Surviving are his wife, Mildred J. Frenchko Dillner, whom he married Dec. 8, 1951; his children, Gary Dillner of Middlesex Township and Cheryl Rodriguez and Michele Bruggeman, both of Saxonburg; and his siblings, Ruth Black, Hazel Mink and Earl, Herman, and Howard Dillner; and a son-in-law.

He also is survived by 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly O'Hern, and a brother.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Joseph Kiewra officiating.
