IN BRIEF
PITTSBURGH — Free agent linebacker Colby Bockwoldt and offensive lineman Sean Mahan visited the Pittsburgh Steelers practice complex on Friday.
Bockwoldt played for Tennessee last season and said he has offers from the Titans and San Francisco. But the 25-year-old Bockwoldt said he'd prefer to play with the Steelers, and alongside former Brigham Young teammate and defensive end Brett Keisel.
The 26-year-old Mahan, a 6-foot-3, 301-pound guard who has played four seasons for Tampa Bay, said the Steelers may sign him to compete for the center's job being vacated by Jeff Hartings, who retired. The Steelers prefer centers with more athleticism who can pull and trap block.
