Vernon H. Hall

Vernon H. Hall, 77, of 1336 Great Oak Drive, Clearwater, Fla., died Friday in Clearwater.

Born March 6, 1929, in Jamestown, N.Y., he was a son of Harry and Ethel Lawson Hall.

He graduated from Jamestown High School in 1947 and served in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Mr. Hall had been employed by Dunkirk Ice Cream for 18 years and was a salesman at Flavor Rich Dairy in St. Petersburg, Fla., from 1983 until his retirement in 1990.

He was a member of the Cuba Masonic Lodge 306 F&AM, having been raised in 1974.

He was an avid fisherman.

His wife, Gene Case Hall, whom he married Sept. 11, 1952, died Dec. 12, 1989.

Surviving are a daughter, Dianne L. Hall of Clearwater; four sons, Tim C. Hall of Melbourne, Fla., Tom M. Hall of Orlando, Fla., Todd V. Hall of San Jose, Calif., and Tad D. Hall of Clearwater; and two grandchildren.

Also surviving are a brother, the Rev. Kenneth Hall of Butler; and four sisters, Joyce and Jean Anderson and Phyllis Paddock, all of Jamestown, and Carol Phillips of Bemus Point, N.Y.

<B>HALL</B> — Friends of Vernon H. Hall, who died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Lind Funeral Home</B>, 805 W. Third St., Jamestown, N.Y.The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Gregory Vernon Hall, president of Warner Southern College in Lake Wales, Fla., officiating.Burial will be at the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Jamestown.Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Florida Sun Coast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, FL 33760.
