NEW WILMINGTON — Mars graduates Amanda Bearrow and Mallory Bugel, both juniors on the Westminster College women's soccer team, received honorable mention on the 2006 NSCAA/adidas College Women's Scholar all-East Region team.

Bearrow is an elementary education major with a 3.81 grade point average. Bugel is a biochemistry major with a 3.69 GPA.

SLIPPERY ROCK — Four members of the Slippery Rock University cross country program received Division IIAll-Academic honors from the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.The quartet includes female runners Kim Smith (3.86 GPA) and Raissa Weiss (3.95), and males Kevin Dustin (3.7) and Jeff Weiss (3.29).
