Vargo

Michael L. Vargo, 61, of Butler died at 10:35 p.m. Monday at the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Born Jan. 23, 1946, in Butler, he was the son of the late Michael George and Betty Jane Mahan Vargo.

He was an avid Pirates and Steelers fan.

Mr. Vargo was a Navy veteran and worked at Stanley's Bakery.

Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Ann Scott and Schconda Sarver; two sons, Michael and Donald Vargo; and five grandchildren.

He also is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Clair (Barbara) Jewart of Hooker, Mrs. Kenneth (Sandy) Smith of Butler and Mrs. Roger (Tammie) Grossman of Boyers; a brother, Glenn Vargo of Butler; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by a sister.

<B>VARGO </B>— Services for Michael L. Vargo, who died Monday, Jan. 29, 2007, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 1004 N.
