Gertrude V. Horner
Gertrude V. Horner, 90, formerly of Hovey Township, Armstrong County, died at 12:26 a.m. Tuesday at the Chicora Medical Center after an illness.
Born Jan. 19, 1916, in Washington Township, she was the daughter of Roy and Mildred Elder Terwilliger.
She was affiliated with the Church of God of Prophecy most of her adult life.
Mrs. Horner was an active member of the Parker Senior Center as long as health permitted.
Surviving are a son, Wayne L. Horner and his wife, Jean, of Butler; a daughter, Dorothy Horner Konkle and her husband, Richard, of Florida; four grandchildren, Leslie Young, Mitchel Konkle, Miste Cook and Tod Horner; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne V. Horner, who died April 27, 1990, and a brother, Elmer Terwilliger.
