Robert T. Burns, 94, of Saxony Health Center, formerly of Miller Street, died Tuesday at the Saxony Health Center.

Born Nov. 27, 1912, in Wallasey Cheshire, England, he was the son of Daniel Allan Burns and Lilian Gertrude Burns.

Mr. Burns was a Butler City plumbing inspector and was the former manager of the Mifflin Apartments. He was a member of Tanglewood Senior Center. He enjoyed gardening and ballroom dancing.

He became a citizen of the United States on July 9, 1972.

Mr. Burns is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Craig (Nancy) Daugherty of Butler; two sons, Ronald G. Post of Timpson, Texas, and Larry J. Post of Tucson, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Burns was preceded in death by his wife, Mona Jean Watt Burns, who died Jan. 3, 1990, and by two sisters and three brothers.

<B>BURNS</B>— Friends of Robert T. Burns, who died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the <B>Thompson-Miller Funeral Home</B>, 124 E. North St.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Clark Sawyer of Hill United Presbyterian Church officiating.Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.Contributions may be made to the Tanglewood Senior, 10 Austin Ave., Lyndora, PA 16045.
