Dolores June Jasick
Dolores June Jasick, 72, of Graystone Manor in Slippery Rock died Saturday at the Grove City Medical Center.
Born May 12, 1934, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of Francis and Viola Shaffer Miller.
A homemaker, Mrs. Jasick was of Catholic faith and proud to have worked for the Little Sisters of the Poor as a nurse's aide. She greatly enjoyed playing bingo with friends.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Jasick, whom she married May 29, 1970; two sons, Roy and Micci Knight of Wake Forest, N.C., and Brian Knight, of Apex, N.C.; three daughters, Deborah and Jerry Lorenz of Pittsburgh, Gail and Bill Kreuzer of Slippery Rock and Lyndora Anderson of East Deer; two step-sons, Richard and Judy Jasick of North Huntington and Randal Jasick of Washington, Pa.; four sisters, Evelyn and Mary, both of St. Petersburg, Fla., Donna of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Sandy of Pittsburgh; two brothers, Richard and Fred "Butch," both of Pittsburgh;' and 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
<B>JASICK </B>— Friends of Dolores June Jasick, who died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock. A Blessing Service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. James Armstrong of St. Peter Catholic Church officiating.Burial will be in St. Anthony's Cemetery in Harrisville.
