Concord University rode a perfect 15-for-15 effort at the foul line to claim a 62-48 victory over the Slippery Rock University women's basketball team Wednesday in the second and final day at the Lady Falcon New Year's Classic hosted by Fairmont (W.Va.) State University.

The Rock (4-7) trailed 24-23 at the half before Concord scored nine unanswered points midway through the second half to turn a 35-33 deficit into a 42-35 advantage.

SRU received nine points from Amanda Nero and eight from KellyAnn Staudinger.

Next up, The Rock will travel to Cheyney University on Sunday for a 1 p.m. tipoff.
