Our dear, sweet Jennifer touched our hearts

For only just awhile

To teach us what it means to love

And show us how to smile.

She could not stay for very long,

God soon would call her home

But she left behind sweet memories

To carry with us when we roam.

But one day the skies will open

And God's hands, they will unfold

And our precious Jennifer will be waiting

For our arms to hold.

So till then we must hold on

And keep her living in our hearts

And know the journey isn't done,

It's only just the start.
