Racers are needed for the eighth annual Treesdale Turkey Trot 5K Run and mile Fun Walk at 9 a.m. Nov. 25 to benefit the Make a Wish Foundation of Western Pennsylvania.
The event is sponsored by the Rich-Mar Rotary, Prudential Preferred Real Estate and Treesdale Golf & Country Club in Adams and Pine townships.
An optional pancake breakfast will follow at the clubhouse, where awards will be presented to winners in 10 age categories.
Entry fee is $15 by Nov. 18, $20 after that date
The pancake breakfast costs $8 and should be paid at the club.
Make a Wish Foundation supporters also can participate by becoming T-shirt sponsors. For a $100 donation, a company's name and logo will appear on the back of the race T-shirt.
