HERSHEY — Vincentian's Elise Held and Alena Tesone captured their first-round match at the PIAA Class AA Girls Doubles Tennis Championships Friday, but they followed up with a loss in the quarterfinals.

Held, a freshman from Penn Township, and Tesone, a sophomore from Gibsonia, defeated Tori Bybel and Jaquelyn Sauder of Lancaster Mennonite 6-1, 6-1 before Lauren Kristofco and Mary Forr of Bishop Guilfoyle prevailed 6-3, 6-2.
