Penn State Cooperative Extension will offer pesticide update training on Oct. 16 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Butler County Community College Convocation Center.

There will be a $5 materials fee charged at the door. Registration is requested and can be made by contacting the Beaver County Extension Office at 724-774-3003.

Two core and two category 01 Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture pesticide update credits will be available for those that attend, pending approval by the PDA.

For those that are unable to attend on Oct. 16, the same meeting program will be offered on Oct. 23, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Penn State University Beaver Campus, Room 115A & B in the General Classroom Building.

Applicator exams for private, commercial and public applicators will be given both evenings beginning at 7 p.m. Fees for exams are payable to the PA Department of Agriculture.
