Kennedy, Geiwitz

An Oct. 28 wedding is being planned by Katie Kennedy of Slippery Rock and Joshua Geiwitz of Volant.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Carol Kennedy of Slippery Rock. Parents of the prospective bridegroom are Larry and Rhoda Geiwitz of Volant.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and a 2006 graduate of Slippery Rock University, where she received a doctoral degree in physical therapy. She works for Jameson Health System in New Castle.

Her fiancé graduated in 1999 from Wilmington Area High School. He works for the Huston Group in New Castle.
