Rock tennis victorious
Four players and six victories.
That's how the Slippery Rock University women's tennis team went about defeating West Liberty State College, 6-3, Wednesday.
Kayla Blackburn and Laura Handy were victorious in the No. 1 doubles match, and both also won their singles match.
Just as impressive, Christina Rhodes and Casey Runyan won the No. 3 doubles competition and both won their singles matches for The Rock (3-1).
SRU will host Holy Family and Georgian Court on Saturday at 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively.

SRU failed to score a goal for the third time in four games after a 4-0 defeat to West Chester (10-2, 8-1 PSAC).Despite the loss, The Rock (6-6, 6-4) remains no worse than fourth place in the PSAC standings and in a position to earn a conference playoff spot.
