The Butler Public Library is offering an 11-week session of Preschool Story Time for children ages of 3 to 6 beginning Thursday.
Story time will be from 10:30 to 11 a.m. and 1:30 to 2 p.m. Thursdays and from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Fridays.
A mother-daughter book discussion group on the book, "Ella Enchanted" by Gail Carlson will be held at 1 p.m. Sept. 23.

Lifesteps will host free Child Check developmental screenings for children age 5 and younger from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Butler Public Library, 218 N.
